Child Protection & Safety Policy

ANUDIPTI FUTURE FOUNDATION operates numerous educational welfare centers, free computer training labs, and child nourishment campaigns. We believe that every child, regardless of gender, caste, religion, or economic background, has the fundamental right to be protected from all forms of violence, exploitation, abuse, and neglect.

This policy is aligned with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

All instructors, center coordinators, and field volunteers interacting with children under the age of 18 must strictly observe the following covenants:

• Treat every child with absolute dignity, empathy, and respect.
• Never engage in corporal punishment, emotional intimidation, or abusive language.
• Never spend unmonitored one-on-one time with a child behind closed doors; ensure all tutoring and mentoring is conducted in visible, open spaces.
• Never photograph or record video of children in private or unhygienic conditions; obtain written guardian consent before capturing educational program media.
• Never share personal contact numbers or engage in private online messaging with child students outside official classroom channels.

To ensure total child safety across our learning centers:

• All prospective teachers, lab instructors, and long-term volunteers undergo government-issued identity verification and criminal history self-declarations.
• Mandatory reference checks with previous educational institutions or employers.
• All staff members undergo an orientation on Child Rights and POCSO reporting protocols before entering classrooms.

Section 19 of the POCSO Act imposes a mandatory legal duty on every citizen and institution to report suspected child abuse:

• Any staff member or volunteer who suspects or observes any form of child abuse, neglect, or exploitation must immediately report it to the Child Protection Officer.
• The Foundation will notify the local Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU) or local police station within 24 hours of notification.
• National Child Helpline: 1098 (Toll-Free 24/7) is prominently displayed across all Anudipti learning centers.
